Cynthia Rand-Thompson is an artist, who lives and works in the Monterey Bay area of California. She has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Spacial Art with a minor in Art History from San Jose State University. Her academic emphasis was sculpture, but as with many artists, there were regular and extended forays into other mediums. Her works include sculpture, painting, drawing, small-scale metal art, jewelry and mixed-media.
Cynthia has studied with instructors including Ronna Rio Emmons, David Middlebrook, David Kimball Anderson, Tim Craighead, Dawn Nakanishi, Theresa Lovering-Brown, Jaime Abbott, Angela Gleason and Tobin Wynne Keller.
